under the management of crown golf, kemper lakes transitioned from being a public course to a private club. from the stationery system, to membership brochure, to direct mail, to print advertising in local and national papers (crain's chicago, chicago tribune and wall street journal), to radio spots, the private club needed to have a brand created for its new membership. we began with updating the course logo to have a cleaner look and new typography. the double gate fold membership brochure was designed as a picture book with minimal editorial comments as the course spoke for itself, being host to numerous championship tournaments. supporting direct mail pieces reflect the marketing initiative of kemper lakes and the brand standards developed by dawn design.
